I have papillary Thyroid Cancer. I had a partial thryoidectomy on April 20, 2011 which showed cancer after it was sent to the lab. Then I had the other side removed in July 2011, it also showed cancer after sending it to the lab. August 2011 went to the emergency room because I could not get a deep breath, told nothing wrong. I took RAI April 2012 and had a full body scan. There was some uptake at the lower left rib cage and was told it could be a hernia so I had a CT. THis is the results from that: There is a persistent subpleural nodule involvingthe medial aspect of the left lower lobe. This continues to measure 7mm in diameter. There are branched structures which extend to thelesion. Although this may reflect adjacent vascular structures orsubsegmental atelectasis a small pulmonary AVM cannot be completelyexcluded. Should I be concerned?
