I have been diagonise with gential warts. I have had intercourse only with my one partner in the last 5 years. They say you could have the HPV virus for a while before an actual wart breakout. Obviously, I contracted it from her. Is it possible that if she goes and gets a paps that she will NOT show or have any signs of the HPV?

PAP-test can't identify infection with HPV. PAP-test can only identify some epithelial cell changes (called squamous intraepithelial lesions - SIL) that can be caused by some types of HPV-infection. If such SIL is detected, DNA-HPV-test is requested to prove the presence of HPV.
Have you had any other sexual partner before the current one? It is not important how long ago.
