Let me explain...

I have a history of abnormal paps due to HPV. I finally had a series of two paps in a row which were negative and was due this month to have the 3rd, which my gyno was hoping to find it was the 3rd negative in a row, so that I could start only needing a pap once a year, instead of every 6 months. Well, late August I got pregnant, which sadly ended in ectopic and I had surgery 3 weeks ago. In my follow up, I asked my OB if she wanted me to get a pap before I TTC in 3 months, and she said no, if I wanted to wait 3 months to heal and try again, get pregnant, and then get a pap, she would be fine with that. So my real question is, how soon after my surgery 3 weeks ago, can I have a pap done if I want to get one done before I TTC again, because having a pap while pregnant scares me now that I have read up on the coorelation between ppl being pregnant and miscarrying right after a pap. Because that fears me, does anyone think I should get a pap before I TTC, and how long before my body is ready to get a pap after my surgery?
