I dont like needles either.
When my doctor sends me for blood work, i tell the nurse 'not too hard' lol
and i look away from the needle while she's doing it.
It feels like a tiny pinch, and you dont feel anything in about 2 seconds.
Maybe you could take a friend with you to distract you.
One time my sister inlaw went with me, and she brought her 2 kids, my niece and nephew, and they wanted to come in and stay with me while i got it done. I was more distracted by them, that i didn't really feel anything or care about the needle.
I hope that helped a little Smile

your welcome
ya you dont really feel it.
The nurse will talk to you as well.
She'll tell you, first make a fist, and then when the needle goes in release your fist.
You wont feel a thing.
Distract yourself to keep your mind off of the needle.
Then after go get a treat lol
That's what i do Razz i tell my fiancee i want ice cream after my needles lol

Just ask her to prep you them just dotn pay attention... and tell her not to give you warning like look away and tell a story or something hum a tune... and tell her just to go when ready do not look at it it will help... you can also try headphones... i love tattoos and always wear headphones when I go to distract me

lol
i find it funny, im scared of needles, but i've got 4 piercings in eact ear, and i did 3 myself, and i have my tongue pierced too. I had to sych myself up to get that done, but it felt like nothing going in!
needles make me scared when i get blood work though..i think its the blood that does it too.
I feel the same way when sitting in the waiting room, i just want to get it over with and get out as soon as possible!!
