Hi, i'm a 19year old male, weigh about 78kgs.
Last month i was rushed to the hospital for hyperventilation..after a few days i learned how to control that, but i was still having "attacks", the breathing was fine but everything else was the same. I was having intense pains in the left side of the chest and left arm. I went to see a cardiologist and all my heart tests came out just fine. but i still have this immense pain in my chest, it's there all day and it hurts more on socially difficult situations.

My doctor says i'm experiencing panic attacks and that the pains are just "imagined" in my brain... anyone have another idea of what it might be?

thanks for your help

Panic attacks
I have panic attacks as well. On my left side of my chest I get a very tight squeeze. I have also got chest pains and were shooting into my left arm. It's very scarey. I have only hypervent once and my hands were tingling. Its something you have to learn to cope with and over come. I wish I would tell you how to do that, but I cant. I fear it everyday. I wake up scared all the time and my heart racing. I turn really white when I get this way, but you have to try to remember its only panic and not your heart. Try to stay busy and focused on something and not think about it. Best of luck to you.
