My panic attacks usually effect me in my
stomach. I have irritable bowel syndrome
and carry all of my stress and anxiety in
my gut. So when I have a panic attack it
effects me with a stomach ache, naseaues,
sweating, light headedness and an immense
sense of fear and dread. I don't get the
increased heart rate or tight chest. So I
think there are different symptoms for
different people.

Thanks katrina, it was what I wanted to
hear. I always thought the doctors were
wrong in diagnosing me with anxiety as I
do not get the racing heart anymore blamed
in most of the theories for the other
symptoms.

Over the years I had anxiety that can
change and effect other parts of the body.
Usually, I will get dizzy and begin to
sweat which is really awful during a
dinner party. Then other times it would
effect my speaking center, and at times I
would not be able to talk. These symptoms
would go away for 6 months, then return
suddenly. My medication have nearly
eliminated these symptoms.

Hello Angstigh,
I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Panic
Attacks 3 years ago. When I have a panic
attack my heart does not beat fast at all.
When I have an anxiety attack my heart
does beat fast.
This condition is so irritating, it can
actually ruin your life.

Yes this is possible. Mine hardly ever
beats fast during panic attacks. In fact I
hardly notice it at all when I panic.
Mostly notice my breathing and tingling do
to overbreathing.
Anyways I remember I was nervous at the
doctors and she took my pulse and I was
like "Wow my heart rate must be really
fast right now" she looked at me and said
"nope completely normal"
So yea its possible

panic attacks and symptoms Posted: 07-04-08 03:24am
Hi, there are all kinds of emotional and
physical symptoms that can accompany a
panic attack. Not all sufferers have the
same symptoms, though, and it is rare to
see all symptoms strike one same sufferer.
You can refer to this blog post for a
complete list of panic attack symptoms:
