I have suffered with pain in my right side, back pain and diarrhea 4 to 6 times a day every day . My gallbladder was removed two years ago. My Lower GI test came back negitve. My doctor put me on Welchol 625 MG that I am to take this pill per her instructions 4 to 8 times a day or more if my diahrea shows no signs of slowing. I do not have high cholesteral never have, yet she says a clinical study showed that this would help. It has not helped and I have told her so she then puts me on Aciphex I don't suffer from heart burn. But I still have pain in my right side burning pain in the middle of my back and the never ending Diarrhea. Eight years ago I sufferd for a LONG eight years because no one ever bothered to check my gallbladder I hurt always in my back and was told repeatedly that it was just IBS. I Have called a new doctor my question is how can I get the new doctor to think outside of IBS when I know this is not a true clinical case of just simple IBS.
