Went to Dr. with gall bladder-like symptoms, pain in upper stomach under ribcage, burping, gas, nausea, constipation. Ultrasound showed no stones, CAT scan with iodine showed no stones and pancreas looked ok too. My diet is not bad, I gave up red meat, pork and fried foods in my 20s due to gall stone type pain with no diagnosis. I haven't drank alcohol in over 2 years and eat mainly low fat diet. Around Christmas I had too many sweets and a Velveeta-based soup that set me off. Sick for 14 hours straight, fever, chills, aches and nausea. Second blood test shows pancreatic fluid still high, still have pain in stomach and sore to touch. What next? If it is the common duct or an infection, how will they figure it out? Tired of feeling bad.
