Hi there,

I am a 20 year old male, average weight. A few days ago, I suddenly developed slight heart palpitations one afternoon, and they have not gone away since then. My chest feels tight constantly, and I feel very weak, detached and unreal. My eyes feel quite heavy all the time, too.
I don't know if it's related, but the top corner of my left eye has been twitching a bit as well (though not for the last 2 days).

Initially I thought it may have been caused by my caffeine intake, which has been perhaps a bit higher than it ought to have been. I completely stopped drinking coffee, though there is no improvement at all.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you under any considerable amount of stress at the moment? Also, it can take up to 2-9 days to withdraw from caffeine, athough the average is 1-2 days.
