my sister had a little boy whom was stillborn 36 weeks gest, at her 29 week scan he was around 8 pound, there was a worry that he had too much fluid around him, not long after that she started losing weight but the doctor wasnt concerned about it, the day before he died she had a appointment up the hospital with other doctor as her doctor wasnt able to see her, this doctor wanted to give her a scan right then and there but my sisters main doctor said no, 12 hours later she collaspe and went into hospital where they found that he had died, he was 3 pound 13 born u could see that the palcenta was not feeding him at all, he had alot of loose skin, after he was born, i was speaking with the nurse and she told me that it was a palcenta abruption the palcenta was very small and damaged, but she also told me that if they had done the scan on the day before he would be alive in our arms today, we (the parents and i) are looking at suing the doctor who denied the scan, now we have just found out that the very same doctor had had two stillbirths within two weeks of each other over the same thing which seems to makes me wonder if this doctor is giving the proper care or not, nothing is gonna bring this little man back to us but if it prevents this doctor from casuing any further deaths in babies then i would be happy....what do you think dont be afraid to say what u think i just want to know.
