I have been on loop for the past five years but I have regular very sharp pains on my left side, in some cases cases the pains goes as far as my whole left leg. Is there a possibility it is caused by the loop? It is so irritating and I feel like it connect to the my left side nerves, from the head to the toes. When this starts I also get some blood spots

loop is a birth control device placed in the uterus, also known as an IUD or a coil

Well I've apparently been out of the loop for a while...yes, pun intended. I am familiar with IUD.

To answer you question...yes, your pain could be related to your loop as it could have shifted...

Is it safe to keep it in for 5 years?
