I don't know much because I'm very newly pregnant myself, but I've had some hot flashes and some stomach cramps too. I think my stomach cramps were mostly gas. Arg! From what I've been reading, it sounds like cramps are pretty common... I know tiredness is VERY normal although I haven't had much myself. Hope this helps a little.

Pain in the tummy, 1st Trimester.
I am still waiting for my first scan, but believe to be around 7 weeks pregnant. I have had (for 2 weeks now) alot of what feels like 'really bad menstrual pain' in my lower abdoman. I went to see my GP, and he told me that this was normal (as it has been accompanied by feeling sick, although i have yet to be sick). He also did a quick internal that was completely normal, and a wee sample, that contained a 'tiny' amount of blood. He then said that it could be a simple water infection which could be causing the pain.
Even though i have been reassured, it still doesnt feel right, as the pain is coming and going in waves throughout the day.

Can anyone help?
Sam.

The cramping like feeling is normal, it is just you uterus expanding to make room for the baby. You will also have sore and tender joints so you have to be careful while exercising to make sure not to injure anything. I have found with the joints back and neck pain that I go to a chiropractor and it makes it better. Just make sure you tell them you are pregnant before you go so they can adjust you properly.
