Do I have cancer in my throat or Acid Reflux Disease? I have smoked for the past fifteen or so years and I know I shouldn't have. Anyway, recently have been taking more notice to these constant slightly creeping up pains in my throat. It will be almost like a tightening then a small pain right above my collar bone. I don't eat spicy foods and do not drink. So what can this be? However, my diet is extremly poor. I am suffering from premenopausal symtoms as well.

Last year I have a complete exam and blood work, even have my thyroid checked all came back fine. The doctor prescribed an amazing weight loss pill, but it completely had me NOT hungry at all and awake all night. So, I stopped taking it and gained an enormous amount of weight. Although, I then get these loud gasps of hiccups concerning me since I don't over eat, I know I just eat the wrong things like carbs and proteins, but love vegetables.

Please advise me where to start and then what to do.

Might be reflux, let it be checked out
Hello, how are you doing? I hope yiou're doing better by now but I'd like to write anyway. I have had the same experience in the throat and it was reflux. Go to an ear nose throat doctor and let him scope you ( isn't bad at all and very fast) He basically checks your throat and then you'll know. he'll put you on a medication and for further evaluation you could also see a doctor whos then specified for the gastric passages.
A christian , too
