I am new on the forum. I am 19 years old I am type on the computer all the time. I type with my wrists down instead of up in the air for good typing. Anyways, both my wrists have been painful lately - my right wrist more than my left wrist. I am just wondering if it is CTS or something else?

Hi Gayle, and welcome to ehealth...I am not a doctor, but it sure does sound like the start of CTS...My right wrist is my bad one...Being right handed, I use this more often..... Like you, I do type a lot on the computer...Unlike you, I type with my hands above me in the air....I have been able to control the pain by using the wrist brace when it gets bad....

Good luck and hopefully yours will not get worse...

Caroline
