I had a cortisone shot 2 days ago and have extreme pain between my index and thumb when I reach for something or pick something up. I have had cortisone in the past and have nev er felt this before. Did something go wrong? What can I do?

Cortisone never worked for me so I stay away from it...I guess the best thing to do is hope the pain goes away...I would rest my hand if this happened to me...Good luck...
