I went into the hot tub with my friends a week ago and now we all have these red bumps all over us where our bathing suits were. the only thing is that their bumps itch and aren't spreading like mine...mine hurt and are showing up all over..i realize now that my sister put too much bromide in the water beforehand but why am i having such a diff reaction? theirs are clearing up and mine are getting worse. what should i do, cortizone is doing less than nothing for me?

Your skin may be a little more sensitive than theirs is. You might want to make an appt. with a dermatologist or speak with a pharmacist who will probably be able to give you something over the counter to give you some relief.
