The TIPS thread is locked, so I can't actually post to it, but here's my help!

Treatment For:
Painful Menstruation-

Immediate treatment: Pamprin, hot pad (on high!), and lying flat on your back. Curling up actually intensifies the cramps. This treatment may take up to an hour to be effective, and pamprin may have to be taken every few hours to keep the pain away. Remove any tampons and use pads instead. Tampons can increase the pain of cramps.

Long-term treatment: Getting on a form of hormonal birth control. It's long proven that hormonal birth control can relieve even the worst cramps and take them from debilitating to bearable, even nearly unnoticable!

My tips: chocolate ice cream!!

And really, the hot pad is a good one. Or a nice hot bath. Muscle relaxants.

Get on birth control so you don't have to deal with it! Smile
