Based upon the history that you've provided, an infection is probably the most likely cause for this painful, enlarged lymph node. However, if these symptoms do not resolve within a month or two of their onset, then you should be re-evaluated by your physician.

i have pain under arm pits and closed arm lieft one is grainy type muscle very achey,painfil i am lithargic.....and right groin lymph pain....head sores and arms as well

I have had this INTERMITTENT lump in-front of( R) TMJ JOINT for years,as THERE is a SUSPECT,of one LARGE ROUND WELL rounded 2.5"is called a fluid filled cyst.
IT is said to be a cyst,HOWEVER I HAVE CHRONIC CHANGES TO MY LUNGS and I have constant BREAST BONE PAIN" I have been to a NEURO SURGON he said not his area,WENT TO PULMONARY EXPERT not his area,it is not in PLURA PERSAY" SO I WENT TO A orthopedic SURGEON and HE SAID HOLY POO! Thats inside you and it has not been BIOPSY-ED YET? THIS was a while ago,and I have developed worsening breathing problems and throat pain has been here a long time to!
