Q: Painful loss of virginity

So I just lost my virginity- kind of. My bf has a big and thick penis (8in. long and 6in wide) so I knew it was going to be painful. He also was afraid he was going to hurt me, so we went really, really slow. He only got half way in though before I couldn't take the pain anymore and I started to bleed. And I bled a pool of blood. He was very nervious for me, and I continued to bleed for the next day. It's lite bleeding now (20hrs later). I am still in some pain though. I talked to some friends and they said I shouldn't have bled that much. So my question is...is it normal to bleed that much? Or did he tear something in me? and How can we make it easier/not as painful to have sex? Thanks for your help.

I think you meant to say he has a 6 in girth vs 6 in wide as 6 inch wide would be painful for any of us...that would almost be like giving birth...

Anyway back to your question. It may be normal (it's been over 25 years for me so I don't exactly recall how much blood there was for me)...

Everyone is different...as long as your bleeding is getting lighter then you should be ok however if you continue to bleed or it gets heavier (other than a period) then I'd suggest you see a doctor.

How to make it easier / not as painful to have sex you ask... Try lubricant, works wonders...

It's nothing to worry about unless you are feeling ill from the loss of blood, or as zigemyster said if it is getting heavier.

Next time ask him to penetrate you with fingers first, working up from 2 to 3, 3 to 4, then try his penis. And yes, use lubricant!
