i had a yeast infection about a week and a half ago, and i used monistat to clear it up and it worked great. right after my yeast infection cleared up, i got my period. i figured it was cleared up, so i used tampons. i tried having sex right after and i had severe irritation, twice. i know my yeast infection is gone because i no longer have any symptoms. is my vagina irritated after sex because i have been using tampons? and will it stop being irritated after my period is over and i no longer use the tampons?

Yeast infections and sex
Hey girl, i have had many of a yeast infection Mad and u need to alter you diet and take out sugar and breads. Question Your vagina is super sensitive during and after your periods. You must make sure your aroused before sex, so your body produces the natural lubricant. Having sex with out being aroused can be very painful, and having a yeast infection can be passed on to other partners, Shocked especially if they are not circumcised. See gosign a doctor to confirm that it was for sure and yeast infection, and nothing else going on .. all the best ww sunny

Hi,

It is terrible as, why you are doing sex if there is such problem as it is better if you avoid sex till the infection ends.

As, it is very important to have painless sex and it can be done by proper postitioning and better compatibilty also, it is important that you just forget about it for the couple of days till you move out from the infection as it will no doubt spread to your partner.

Thanks!
