About a week or two ago I wacked my right eye on the corner of a table as I was sitting down and bending to the floor. This happened rather quickly so it was pretty hard - I started leaking furiously from both eyes, and I felt a bruise there for a few days.

Actually, I'm not sure it was my eye. It may have been my face. It's that part where your eyeball rests in the socket, aligning your temple. So both a soft and a hard part were hit.

Anyway, Just a few hours ago it started hurting, like a prick. It hits every few seconds. I can't tell if the pain feels like it's *behind* my eye or *in* it. Every now and then I have to twitch it, but if I put pressure in and upwards just under my eyeball I don't.

Could this be serious? Is it possible I've broken an artery leading to the brain? I don't want to go half blind! scared
