the last 3 months ive been getting really bad pains where my tooth had a root canal 8 years ago. I'm told it may have to be removed if the pain doesn't go

The last 3 years ive been experiencing feverish symptoms and doctors haven't known what the problem has been, they've tried every test possible and scans, is it possible that the 2 are linked?
