Q: pain under right ribs

Hi. I have been suffering with a pain under my ribs on the right side for a few weeks now. It feels as though something is lodged there?? I also have a pain in my back also on the right side. I went to the doctors yesterday and she is going to arrange for me to attend an ultrasound. I am feeling very anxious about this as the pain has been quite constant for the past few weeks. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi i have had a dull ache just below my right rib since yesterday what can it be??

I have been also feeling a dull pain, more like pressure that starts in my back(underneath my right rib) and comes around my right side. It becomes worse as the day goes by, or if I have been sitting for a period of time. I have been to the doctors and they said it was a urinary infection, so I have taken the medication, but for more than a year I have still had that dull pressure. I do not know if it could be kidney stones? But you would think they would of pass by now?
