Hello,
I have been having a sharp stabbing pain under my right rib for about 2 weeks now, on and off. The pain is not constant, but comes on with movement. It feels kind of like the sharp pain of a gas bubble under my ribs, but it does not go away and again, is only with movement. I should point out, that it is not with all movement, and it is not only with great exertion. I can go running and feel it at first, then it goes away, but then other times i will simply be walking to my bedroom and it becomes sharp and stabbing. It is only on the right side, and it above, but feels inside of my lowest rib. I really dont know what to do about it. i do not have any increased pain with eating or drinking anything and it is not worse during different times of day. I am a pretty healthy 27 yr old female, no major illnesses.
Any ideas?? I dont want to over react but its getting pretty painful and my patients is wearing thin.
