hello im a supporter on the forum and i was so thrilled to see my first grandchild into the world she is now 11 months.
i remember my daughter going through same problem and she was advised by midwife that its baby just getting comfy before the hard work starts of being born. she had this for few weeks before her baby was born so no need to panic. you may even experience some minor braxton hicks contractions just baby practising. best of luck sweetheart remember when you do finally give birth let us know if boy/girl.

I too can vouch that what you are feeling is very normal. It can mean that the cervix is starting to soften, but at 37.5 weeks and a first child that is nothing to worry about at all. In fact, that is great news! It means things are starting to get ready. Often first pregnancies can sit at 2 cm or less dialated for a couple of weeks. Just a warning, because I was with my first and it was quite frustrating because I thought once I was dilated some it meant things were eminent!
