I am 21 years old, about 8 weeks pregnant. I am having my abortion tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. I am terrified. I have done all the research I possibly can. The clinic I am going to does not offer general anesthetic so I am scared of being awake. I just hope the drugs they give me are strong enough. I have an extreme phobia of needles to the point that I am actually getting anxious and worked up just thinking about it now. I know that through breathing and mind over matter I will be able to deal with the needles, but what I am most concerned about is the "pain" that a lot of woman are mentioning. But they don't say what KIND of pain it is. Is it pain like cramping in your abdomin? Or is it pain from the tools? I need this explained just to give me peace of mind and so that I can know what to expect...
