Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Cervical cysts or nabothian cysts, are described as small bumps that are usually found on the cervix. Mostly they don't cause any discomfort or symptoms, but some can grow enough in size, making them noticeable and uncomfortable and can cause pelvic pain.

What needs to be done now is colposcopic examination of the cervix and your doctor may also perform a biopsy to see if the cervical cyst is benign or malignant. Cysts causing pain or discomfort may need to be removed.

If the symptoms still persist then other causes of lower pelvic pain need to be investigated.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and regards.
