had tumor removed from pancreas (benign) and gall bladder removed same time. Am experiencing pain under left rib cage worse after meals. Drain bag was just removed 3 days ago. dr kept in longer than usual due to makeup of fluids. At the time of gp bag removal, drainage was a mixture of blood and yellowish clear fluids. I cannot understand the level of pain I am having.

pain post pancreatic tumor removal including removal of gall bla
My doctor recommended gall bladder removal due to high incidence of gall bladder problems in women and because the pancreas was undergoing assault, wanted to remove a possible future assault by the gall bladder.

Doctor
For what kind of gallbladder problems there is "high incidence"???
What kind of "assault from the gallbladder upon pancreas" your doctor wanted to prevent???
Do you know your precise patho-histological diagnosis after the surgery?
