I have been having severe abdominal pain that starts from my belly button, to the right side of my abdomin and down. I've gotten it every few months for years... the pain comes and goes, there is about an hour of extreme pain, like an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Usually within a day or 2 the pain and the soreness is completely alleviated. This time, it's been almost 5 days and the soreness was still there, and today the extreme pain has come back. I have also been experiencing loose, yellow stole. Any ideas?!?!

There could be a few possible causes for your recurrent abdominal pain.
It is a good idea to be checked for chronic form of appendicitis.
Since the pain is reappearing almost every month, it could be related to your genital organs and their change through menstrual period.
In other words, you may have ovarian cysts or ovarian endometriosis.
Abdominal pain in the lower right area, and diarrhea should raise suspicious for bowel inflammatory disease like Crohn's disease, too.

Best wishes!
