Q: Pain on lower right around ovary

I have had this pain on the lower right side, down around the ovary area. Its always there, and in the same area, though it will at time expand. I had an ultrasound done to look for cysts. They didn't find anything but put me on Seasonique (3 weeks ago)
I saw my primary doctor on Monday. I told her about the pain, and that since starting seasonique i have felt crampy non stop. She told me to stop taking it asap.. and to go to the er if my pain got any worse. Well, i feel it is worse, but i just am not sure what good the er would do. The pain is pretty bad, but could it be something that i should be rushing off to the er for? Or should i just wait till the drs in on friday? I figure.. I've had it this long.. and its been constant, if something really bad were to happen, it should have happened already. I'm a single mom to a 3 year old though.. so I can't really take chances.. cause if something happens to me, shes not going to be able to call for help.. what do you think it could be? Should i go to the er?

Any more news on the reasons for this? I also have the same problem. After intercourse I feel like I'm going into labour and it hurts like hell.
I was admitted into hospital a cpla month back over the same pain as it became excrutiating and I collapsed and was violently sick. Again they looked for cysts but found nothing??!!

Brookie31, a cyst isn't the worst thing to have. You don't have to tell your mom anything if you don't want to cuz you're 20 already but she could probably help calm your fears. Go to the doctor cuz even if that is scary for you, it can't be as scary as wondering & worrying about what the pain COULD be. Hope everything turns out well for you....and for all of us with this problem!

I also have almost the same type of pain except my pain feels like it's around my left ovary after orgasm. I feel intense cramping for about 5-8 minutes then the pain subsides. I too have been to the OB/GYN and they've found nothing! There has to be something-I have unusual intense pain after intercourse AND I haven't been able to become pregnant in 10 years. Something's wrong. Help!
