Q: Pain near kidney

Hi

I started to have a sharp dep pain in my upper left abdominal, right below the ribs
while i was sleeping. It went away temporarily and then when i ate some food, it came back. When i breathe deeply the pain seems sharper and it is only in one area, it´s it only like a pin point sharpness but if i breathe deep the pain goes down. Could it be my kidneys or an ulcer?

Regards from Saif Sabri

I have something similar to that as well. Except mine doesn't seem to bother me when I'm sleeping. It is more when I am working or stressed. It hurts when I get hungry and right after I eat. If I breathe deep or bend over it seems to fade away, but comes back before to long. It is also on both sides. I have seen numerous doctors and they haven't been able to tell me anything at all. I wish I had some answers, but I'm right there with you. Good Luck.
