I had my appendix removed in 1999 and until recently everything was fine but now I am having severe pain like i am going through the appendicitis all over again. My symptoms are: severe pain in the lower right quadrant, Diarrhea, and every time I belch I taste bile. I have pain that goes from the bottom of my ribs on the right side all the way down to my hip in the back.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

From the description it does seem to be a intrabdominal infection or a pathology involving the intestines.

You might need a few tests including a abdominal ultrasound or a CT scan to know the cause of your pain.

Hence you may consult a doctor for a examination and proper advice.

So I got my appendix removed almost a year ago and for thee past couple of weeks I've been getting sharp pains, first I was getting them on my lower left quadrant, thee next day I got it on the lower right quadrant and now I have a pain where my scar is why is that.?
