Hello!

I have been taking the birth control pill properly and effectivly for three years - During my last "period" on the pill the blood was a alot darker (oxidised) than usual, and the bleeding continued very lightly for 2 days despite re-commencing the next packet of pills.

I have had increased vaginal discharge, constipation and now pains in my uterus (like period cramping) for about 48 hours (10 days after last weird period).

I know the birth control pill is not 100% effective at times, and I have had unprotected sex whilst on the pill.

I know it would be incredibly unlucky to be that 1/100 and just wanted to get others opinions to see if i am being a worry wart or not.

thanks for your time.

If you have been taking your pills properly, then I highly doubt you are pregnant.
You can actually psychologically cause your symptoms-- or they could be because of something different. I found that if you think about your symptoms a lot, they seem to get a lot worse.

Like I said, its very unlikely you are pregnant. Something else, either less or more serious, could be going on. Take a HPT, though it will probably be negative, and then maybe make an appointment with your doctor if your symptoms continue. Constipation and the cramping you are feeling could be due to an intestinal or stomach problem. I'd say wait it out a little bit, then see your doctor if things don't get better.
Good luck!
