Hello. I'm 20 years old ( a guy ), and i've recently, well not too recently, have been getting these really sharp pains in the upper back, mainly the trapezius muscle. I work out 4 to 5 times a week, and ever since i started these strength training workouts, ive contracted two cases of spine curvature where my rib cage is literally rotated out of place and my neck is uneven as well as my shoulders. it happened twice in 2 years, once a year ago and one i;m currently experiencing. it went away last year over a period of 4 days, but this time it came out of nowhere. i was wlaking outside when out of no where an intense sharp pain overcomes that same area in the back behind my right shoulder blade, i barely made it home walking upright. it subsided after a while, but it still hurts after 48 hours now. I just want to know if this is a genetic disorder, or is it something that sporadically occurs as i work out at the gym. it doesnt happen often at all, just random. i dont think its scoliosis because symptoms of that don't include pain.. whereas what i have is really painful and it feels like a muscle stretch, but weirder. ive used icy hot patch, and it didnt help. advice please!
