i keep getting these pains on the right side right under my ribs. last night they hurt for about an hr. and finally stop and then they started back up today for like 2 hrs. they keep coming and going. i think its my appendix, im really worried. what are symptoms. and what should i do. i have done the number 2, so its not constipation, i have a slight fever and horrible nausea.
please help

Hello and thank you for your post on e health forum.

The symptoms of appendicitis are situated mostly on the right lower abdomen, and are associated with fever, nausea, etc.

In case you feel that you do have similar symptoms , you should consult a doctor who can get essential blood tests and a CT scan to confirm the diagnosis and then initiate the necessary treatment.
