Q: Pain in R upper rib area

I have some pain and constant soreness in my Right upper rib area. Also sometimes the pain radiates around to my mid back. I have a lot ot diarrhea that is explosive. I have been dx with congenital short gut syndrome (?) I am not sure I ahev this though. My doctor has ordered a gall bladder ultrasound but I dont think that is it. Any suggestions?

I agree with checking for gallstones or other gallbladder-related diseases, and an ultrasound is an appropriate first step.
