six months after a radical hysterectomy, plus other surgery for cervical cancer, i am now experiencing severe pain on the left side of my pelvic bone? why? any offers to help settle my mind?

There are multiple possibilities, and since I cannot examine you, I really cannot offer you any specific diagnoses. You should certainly ask your gynecologist who performed your surgery to evaluate this problem for you.
