Hello, for the past few days I have been having pains in my lower abdomen and especially in my right ovary. The pain is intermittent but can get pretty intense. I have also been having mild to moderate cramps off and on as well.

I have also not had a period since January. It lasted from the 22nd to the 26th. I have not had one since and that puts me at exactly two months late today. I have taken three hpt's but all have come back negative. The last was taken on day 16 of being late.

I am thinking now it could be cysts. My little sister has had several cysts (one even ruptured a few months back) and so has my mom. Does this sound like it could be cysts or am I just not showing up on pregnancy tests yet?? I would go to the doctor but I have no medical insurance. Any ideas?

PCOS perhaps?
Maybe you have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, like I do. There are more symptoms that go with it as well, like excess body hair caused by testosterone, which is higher in women with PCOS. Mention it to your Dr deffinetely.

Hi there,

I agree with blondemomma re: the possibility of PCOS. Furthermore, it could be a cyst and you don't want to deal with it rupturing. Best of luck!!!
