Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health Forum. I am glad I can help you here.

The headache that appears in the later sessions of your office hours could be associated with tension headache, or due to stress. Adequate rest and proper sleep may help to relieve your headache. If not try some pain medications to help it. In case the pain does not subside or worsens, seek medical attention.

From the history described here, the most probable causes for the upper abdominal pain of moderate intensity could be related to reflux disorder, gastritis or peptic ulcer disease.

Additional history and physical examination findings would be important to know the exact cause. You may consider to consult your treating physician who can do the needful.

In the mean time, your abdominal pain can be relieved by antacids (Tums, Mylanta, prevacid) and Omeprazole (Acid reducing medication), provided the required dosage is taken properly. Usually patients take a lower dosage and become desperate due to persisting symptoms. In addition maintaining adequate hydration and adopting a sitting upright posture for 1 hr post meals will help in relieving the symptoms.

I hope you find this helpful in making your health care decisions.
