I have had a cold for about a month and a halve that caused migaraines, coughing and exaustion. I went to the doctor and was given amoxicillian to help get rid of a sinus infection that the doctor believed was causing the headache/migraines.I do think that worked but one other symptom i have had is pain in the lower left side of my rib cage. It is tender to the touch and hurts whe I cough and sneeze. I had a baby a year and a half ago and before I became pregnant I had pain in that same area but hadn't had it again until recently. I would attribute it to the coughing if I had not felt that same pain before, I would like to know if it could actually be something. I had been told by my doctor that it could be (i cant remember the word now) but when the uterine lineing grows where it shouldn't and he thought it might be growing on my organs. If this could be the case is it dangerous he acted as if there couldn't be anything done and didn't test for it any how so i am not sure if that is the case. Well I hope any of theat made sense. Thank you for your time, Mandy (now I remember the word endometiosis)

Yes, that's endometriosis. It can cause pelvic pain, painful intercourse and rarely, painful bowel movements. It can also lead to infertility if left untreated. And its effects depend on where the endometriosis is located. (Endometriosis can migrate to just about any place in the body.) For example, endometriosis of the bladder can lead to kidney damage if left untreated.
