Ok, so around January I experienced some really stressful things and had a panic attack. However, since then, every so often I have these "episodes." They aren't exactly like the panic attack, I have no shortness of breath or real feelings of anxiety or anything like that. It always happens at night. Basically I'll just be sitting around and start to feel a little pain in my lower back. It'll kinda move up my back into like the upper right corner. It's terrible, it's accompanied by tightness in my ribcage area and horrific nausea. Usually lasts around 2 hours. It's the worst pain I've ever felt. I dunno if its stress/anxiety related or something else. Just wondering what you all thought, any help at all would be awesome!

Sounds like gallbladder to me. I have had a couple of friends who had gallbladder trouble and it is sometimes hard to detect. The attacks were always at night, especially after eating something spicy nad the pain was horrible. After a couple of months, they finally found the problem. She had 68 stones that they removed. They actually put them in a prescription bottle, and I saw them! It may be worth checking out!

Just remember, it is sometimes very hard to detect. They kept telling my friends that they could not find anything. My friend went 6 months with these symptoms, no sleep, horrible pain, crying, etc. until they found her problem. If it is not detected, it could turn into a gangrenous gallbladder. My dad had to be careflighted after a two day stay in a local hospital. They were giving him IV antibiotics, and it relieved the pain some, then we almost lost him the day they were about to release him. It turned out his gallbladder was gangrenous and they did emergency surgery. I do not mean to scare you, you may have just a mild infection (cured with antibiotics), or several stones, or even kidney stones. They can even blast them, laser surgery, if it is just a few stones. PM me - stay in touch!

Have you considered alternative pain relief methods for fibromyalgia? I know that it doesn't cure the cause of the disease but I've discovered that alternative pain relief products are quite effective and safer than traditional medicine....and anything that's safer for more pain free days is alright with me
