I'm 20 weeks pregnant. I had very healthy pregnancy, but from yesterday I started feeling a sharp pain in low abdomen that goes down to the vaginal part. I feel these pains only when I walk or when I move my legs.
Should I go and see the doctor???

Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Mild lower abdominal discomfort and pains are quite common in early pregnancy. However, if the pain or cramps are persistent and keep on increasing in intensity, then they should not be taken lightly.

Eat a healthy, nutritious diet, exercise moderately and take plenty of rest. Rest in a dark room and practice deep breathing. But if the symptoms are severe then please consult your gynecologist and do not take any medicines on your own as none of the medicines are safe during pregnancy. Also keep an eye on spotting, bleeding, fever, chills, dizziness or discomfort while urinating.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
