Quick, sharp pain that comes and goes. It is sometimes noticeable when I have a glass of wine or an alcoholic beverage or when eating or when drinking coffee. Also when at work and typing.
Have suffered from migraines for a number of years. And began taking Topamax in 2005 (I believe) as prescribed. Initially at 25 mg and then up to 100 mg. Stopped at 1 year because of issues with extreme dehydration.
Have also had several head injuries, the most recent was in late 2007 — in the same area where I have the pain.
Began having moments where I would black out while driving and months later, decided to see another neurologist who performed all sorts of tests and said the tests all came back fine.
Pain in left frontal lobe has been noticed for at least 1.5 years now. What may be causing the pain?
