i have pain in the left side of my left butt cheek. i think i may have pulled the muscle from running. i haven't gone running in forever, so i am really out of shape. the other day we had a party and i was chasing my friend around outside. that could've done it, but i don't know. anyway, there is a pain on the left side (outside) of my left butt cheek. i try stretching it by crossing my right and left legs: while standing, i put my left leg all the way to the right side, and then cross my right leg over my left leg and have my right leg all the way over to my left side. then, with my hands against the wall for balance, i bend my body towards the left, and i can feel it stretch. i can only do this for a few seconds because my leg starts hurting from the stretching. does anyone know what i am talking about? how can i stop this from happening? could this be my hip adductor/abductor(sp)?
oh yeah and this is not the first time i have had this before.
