Q: Pain in joints after replacement
asked by: DoctorQuestion on October 6th, 2009
I need to know if there is something wrong with my bones or joints. Iam a 43 year old male and I've had 10 scopes done to my right knee and 2 scopes done to my left knee. I had the right knee replaced in 05 and a revision done 3 years later and then there was an antibotic spacer put in in January of this year followed by a another total knee replacement in June of this year. The knee still isn't right and still gets hot and feels like walking on a rock, meaning its tight and painful to walk on. Now I've had my right hip replaced and its not right either and has to be done over again, but cant till the right knee is under control. The hips have AVN in them so the left has to be done and with the arthritis in the left knee waiting to have it replaced as well. Recently I've been have alot of pain through out my joints (upper body) hands, shoulders, wrists, neck all hurt and are sore. I've had blood work done and bone scans. Whatelse can I do I need answers??
