Good Morning,
OK, I will try to be as brief as possible. Every night when I get ready for bed (I usually sleep on one side or the other) well now about 2:00 - 4:00 am I am awoken by an unbearable pain in my hips (both sides) Now if I just continue to ignore it, the pain goes right down my leg to my knee at which point I have to get up and walk. Usually then it will go away until I lay back down. What is causing this discomfort? I am a 34 year old male 6'0 tall
and very underweight. Any infomarmation will be appreciated.
Thank You in advance,
Kevin.

This sounds like sciatica. It seems like a nerve is being compressed. Have you had a back injury before? What do you do for a living? Do you find any activities that were once easy are now more difficult because of pain?

Arthritis is uncommon in young fellows like yourself.
