Good evening,

I have being suffering over three months, with pain on my left side of my chest, which spreads into my shoulder joint down to my elbow and into my hand I feel pain plus pins and needles sensation in my arm and hand. I can go for hours without pain or even a day, but the pain and sensation returns.

So day's are worse than others, I have consulted a doctor, she did a heart test on me, which she said came out fine, she also did a sugar test on me that also was fine. My doctor put it down to stress?

I feel something is wrong with me; I can not live with this aggravating pain and sensation any longer, please can you suggest what I must do?

Regards
Peta-Lee Smith

Well, I'm very glad that you had your heart checked. The question is, are you stressed? Many times stress can bring strange signs or pain to your body that you may think are symptoms of something more serious. If this isn't the case I would consider seeing a neurologist to see if maybe you have a pinched nerve. A pinched nerve in the neck can cause pain or numbness down the arms.
