Hi xxkayla29xx and welcome to ehealth...Yes, both of these are normal hurts and pains after a Hysterectomy....Give yourself time...They say it takes six weeks to feel good and believe me, it does...Don't look at this as day to day, but week to week...Hopefully you will feel better...Take care...

xxkayla29xx I had this for 4 months and keept telling my Dr. abount the pain. I ended up seeing another GYN who diagnosed me as having a pinched nerve in my back that was pinching the nerve that went to my bladder, he said being on the operating table for over 2 hours sometimes causes this. I ended up going to a chiropractor and am just now feeling relief.

Painful bladder after Hysterectomy
I also had a hysterectomy about a month and a half ago and I'm having severe bladder pain!! I have been on antibiotics for 13 days took med that helps w spasms for the bladder which none worked!! I went to my GYN and he took a UA from a cath and sent it to the lab no bacteria... So he is sending me to a urologist, it feels like my bladder will bust when it's full... Also it's just painful all the time!!! I go to the urologist in 2 days and I can't wait to see what's going on I am also VERY SCARED!! I'm worried it has something to do w the surgery!!

What you've experienced is apparently very common with the Da Vinci robot. I've been through the same surgery only in my case the robot nicked an artery and I nearly bled to death when it ruptured. I found help here: davincihelp . com

I know it doesn't look like much but a very nice lady called me back not even an hour after I filled out the form. She answered all my questions and she told me that it isn't really my doctor's fault but how they are pushed to use the robot without enough training.

This scares me because there are so many women out there who are having this surgery thinking that nothing serious could go wrong.
