My son is 12 years old and since I can remember has comlained of discomfort in his belly button and also around the end of his penis. He has never been able to wash his belly button or the end of his penis without discomfort and he also says when he touches his belly button that there is an uncomfortable feeling that shoots down towards his penis. He has seen the doctor on numerous occasions over the years and even two specialists, but they have never been able to come up with a solution. Pleeeeease help.

The symptoms you are telling about your boy are poiinting to a diagnosis of urachus;this is congenital band which extend from belly button to urinary bladder..At times this may get infected and may be painful too....Kindly meet a pediatric surgeon to examine your boy for a diagnosis and it may help him out...
