I am not sure if I have Fibromyalgia or not, my mom was diagnosed with it about 2 years ago after been in pain for years and the doctors not knowing what is wrong and she still is in severe pain. I seem to get really bad pains in all my muscles, and every joint hurts (fingers, feet). Usually once a month or on days when I work an 8 hour day at work and I stand on my feet a lot. The pain starts in my back (neck, shoulders) and then everything else feels like it is fiery hot with pain. Then it seems like I can't get warm (have the chills) ... and once I am warm, which takes forever, then it seems like I am running a temperature. The day after this 'episode' it feels like everything is hard to do, like walking - feels like my legs weigh a thousand pounds.

It would be interesting to hear what you all have to say about it.
Thanks

As my neurologist said, never say its fibro until you have had all the test. Go to a good rheumtologist, have them do blood work to rule out RA and AK. Let them check you for trigger points on your body, but first let them run blood work, they will do more blood work then your average dr. Good luck
